 CLOWNING AND MIME BADGE complete all six activities):
1. Research the history of clowning and mime. Collect pictures of clowns or pictures of clothing that can be used as clown costumes and display them in a collage. If possible have a professional clown or mimist come to a meeting.
2. Know the materials that clowns use for facial makeup and develop your own clown face; or know the materials for a clown's costume and develop your own costume.
3. Develop a simple skit that a clown or mimist would use.
4. Learn about educational training and career opportunities for a clown or mimist.
5. Using information that you have learned perform a service for the Council or your community.
6. Teach one piece of information from this badge to someone else your age.
