FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS TRY IT Complete four of the following activities
1. Invite a storyteller to tell a story at your meeting.
2. Have each girl donate one of her used books to a local literacy project.
3. Create or play a game in relation to a favorite book.
4. Make and model a costume from one book you have read resembling your favorite character.
5. Create a scrapbook of pictures you have drawn from scenes of your favorite books.
6. Have a snack based on a story. Ex: something with honey in it from Winnie the Pooh.
